China Yangtze Power’s third-quarter net profit rose 38%, supported by stronger power generation amid higher river water volume.

Net profit rose to 12.64 billion yuan ($1.73 billion) compared with CNY9.16 billion in the same period a year earlier after adjustment, the company said.
