Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the lost 0.46%, while the index declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Thales (EPA:), which rose 1.22% or 1.65 points to trade at 136.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:) added 1.09% or 0.78 points to end at 72.52 and Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:) was up 0.95% or 0.38 points to 39.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Worldline SA (EPA:), which fell 4.38% or 0.60 points to trade at 13.10 at the close. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:) declined 3.23% or 1.70 points to end at 50.98 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:) was down 3.15% or 3.90 points to 119.85.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Solutions 30 SE (EPA:) which rose 5.14% to 1.90, Vallourec (EPA:) which was up 3.42% to settle at 12.40 and X Fab Silicon Foundries EV (EPA:) which gained 2.28% to close at 8.97.
The worst performers were Orpea SA (EPA:) which was down 4.95% to 1.00 in late trade, ICADE (EPA:) which lost 4.52% to settle at 31.70 and Worldline SA (EPA:) which was down 4.38% to 13.10 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 292 to 223 and 106 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.43% or 8.65 to $1,990.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.50% or 1.21 to hit $81.72 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.28% or 1.09 to trade at $85.98 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 104.86.
