BlackBerry CEO John Chen to retire on Nov. 4

on Monday said John Chen, its chief executive and executive chair, will retire from the company on Nov. 4. Richard “Dick” Lynch will succeed Chen as board chair and also serve as Interim CEO while BlackBerry completes its search for a permanent CEO.
